No private vehicles can enter the wildlife zone past the visitor center. You must hire a mandatory safari pickup truck for 850–1,200 THB. Open-air trucks take you past salt licks and elevated platforms to observe wild Asian elephants and gaurs.
Sightings have a reported 90–95% success rate in the afternoon. The open terrain means herds stay at a safe distance, so a telephoto lens or binoculars are highly recommended.

This is the entry point and visitor center for the elephant safari. You pay park entry fees here and are assigned a mandatory local safari truck and driver. Arrive around 14:30 to rent binoculars and secure a truck before peak elephant activity begins.

These elevated wooden decks sit at strategic vantage points overlooking the grassland. Safaris park here so you can safely disembark and watch the herds. Set up your tripod or camera here. The elevation provides clear, sweeping views of the terrain.

Park rangers created these mineral deposits and watering holes to draw wildlife out of the deep jungle. Elephants and gaurs frequently visit these areas to feed and bathe. Watch these spots closely with binoculars, as calves often play near the water.
